Fiodor Bajer gimė 03.01.1954 Šiaurės Ukrainoje, krikščionių tėvų šeimoje. Toje šeimoje buvo 5 vaikai: 3 mergaitės ir 2 berniukai. Fiodor buvo pats jauniausias.

F.Bajer mokėsi vidurinėje ir profesinėje mokykloje, jo tėvai padėjo tvirtą pamatą pasirinkti tarnystę Dievui. Tada buvo sunkūs laikai, tačiau įdomūs ir kupini įvykių. Sunkumai jį išmokė eiti prieš vėją ir plaukti prieš srovę.

1977 m. Fiodor išvyko gyventi į Lietuvą. 1978 m. jis vedė lietuvę Dalią Antinaitę, greitai išmoko lietuvių kalbą. Jų šeimoje gimė 11 vaikų: 7 berniukai ir 4 mergaitės.

F.Bajer kalėjimuose pradėjo lankytis su patyrusia mokytoja Bronislava Venskuviene nuo 1993 iki 1995 m. Palikti tarnystę kalėjime teko dėl vaikų, kuriems reikėjo skirti laiko, auklėti, mokyti gyvenimo su Dievu.

2007 m. atsirado galimybė atnaujinti tarnystę kalėjime (Pravieniškių gydymo ir pataisos namai). Fiodor turi 3 pagalbininkus – savo sūnus: Evaldą (28 m., baigė inžinerijos magistratūrą Technologijos universitete), Liną ir Paulių (25 ir 23 m., abu yra Medicinos universiteto studentai). Su sūnų pagalba iki šiol nepraleista nė viena tarnystės kalėjime diena. F.Bajer savo sūnums perduoda gyvenime išbandytą patirtį.

Dabar keli įvykiai iš Fiodor gyvenimo.

Ukrainoje F.Bajer buvo prievarta paimtas į tarybinę armiją, bet atsisakė duoti karo priesaiką ir imti į rankas ginklą. Jį išsiuntė į statybas.

Apie 1974 m. Fiodor skaitė Bibliją su kareiviais ir buvo valdžios susektas. Tais laikais tai buvo laikoma nusikaltimu prieš tarybų valdžią, „religine propaganda“. Du valdžios specialistai 2 valandas grasino, šaukė, rėkė, daužė psichologiškai ir gąsdino. F.Bajer visą laiką tylėjo. Po to jam liepė kalbėti. Fiodor ramiai, pagarbiai ir gražia kalba per 10 minučių juos įtikino, kad jis yra paprastas neklastingas žmogus, nedaro nusikaltimų ir tyrinėja Bibliją. Viskas baigėsi gerai.

Apie 1994 m. kalėjime atsitiko panašus įvykis. F.Bajer bendravo su kaliniais, kai staiga įsiveržė didelis stambus kalinys su pažeista psichika. Jis visus kaltino dėl savo bėdų, baisiai grasino, smarkiai pyko, kad jam paskyrė per didelę bausmę. Fiodor tylėjo ir ramiai klausė. Kai kalinys nutilo, F.Bajer tarė: „Kalbėkite, aš klausau jūsų.“ Nuo to momento kalinio įkarštis ėmė mažėti, ir galiausiai jis baigė tokiais žodžiais: „Dabar tu kalbėk.“ Šis žmogus po to stipriai susidraugavo su Fiodor ir nekantriai laukė kitų susitikimų.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF BROTHER F. BAJER

Fiodor Bajer was born on 3d of January of  1954 in the Northern Ukraine. His parents were believers, they had 5 kids: 3 girls and 2 boys. Fiodor was the youngest amongst them.

Fiodor studied at secondary school, and  later he wa enroled to a vocational school, while his parents put the firm foundation for his Faith baised life. Those gloomy Soviet times were harsh for believers, but also full of adventures and specific challenges. The hardship Fiodor endured taught him to swim against the currents and walk facing strong opposing winds.

In 1977 Fiodor left Ukraine and moved into Lithuania. In 1978 m. he married Lithuanian girl Dalia Antinaite,and soon he learned the language. The family now has  11 children, out of whom 7 are boys and 4 girls.

F.Bajer startd to attend prisons along with experienced chaplain Mrs Bronislava Venskuviene. It was period of time from 1993 to 1995 m. Then he left the ministry due to devotion to his own kids, they needed a lot of attention and care at home

In 2007 Fiodor yet again found prison ministry  (he visits Pravieniskes prison-hospital ward) , Now he has three trustworthy assistants: his sons Evaldas (28 years old, University graduate in engineering),  Linas  and Paulius (25 and 23) both medical students at the Medical university . With their help Fiodor has not missed one visit to the prison he is assigned to. Every day in prison is an opportunity for Fiodor to teach his sons..

Now about few event from Fiodor’s life.

In Ukraine Fiodor was forced to go conscription service, but when they brought him into the acting army, he refused to take an oath nor take a gun, so he was humiliated and sent to work to Soviet army’s troops that were engaged in construction of buildings. In 1974 Fiodor red his Bible with some soldiers and was caught doing this. It was a criminal offence during 70s and later to read the Bible, because Soviet authorities suspected Christian are plotting against their rule. Two agents of KGB shouted and used various treats, pressured brother psychologically. But Fiodor kept silence. Then agents shut up and insisted he start to speak up, answer them. Bother spoke very quietly and peacefully with solid convictions about  10 minutes. He told them he is not a spay or anti Governmently minded person at all, he is not inclied to commit any crime agains t the Regime or the Party. All he loves to do is to read his Bible and if possible to share insights with those around him that look interested in what he does.

In Kaunas in 1994 Fiodor again ncountered similar situation, this time in prison. He was sharing Biblical faith to prisoners when large bearlike inmate bursted loudly into the room the Bible study took place, with curses and threats to everybody. He cried that all people are in charge for his dire situation, that he will deal with all of them severely, that he mad with the judge for the excessive punishment, etc. When prisoner took a break to catch his breath Fiodor told him silently and peacefully: „Please speak up, I am listening.“ Since he said that the heat of the prisoner starter to fade away and finally he told Fiodor, “No, it is you who have to
